Refund & Returns Policy
At Satinor, your satisfaction is our absolute priority. If your mirror does not perfectly suit your space, you have a full 31 days to return it — free of charge, no questions asked. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) apply to all orders placed on satinor.com.au.
Return Window — 31 Days
We offer a 31-day return period from the date your order is delivered. If 31 days have passed since delivery, we are unfortunately unable to offer a refund or exchange.
This is in addition to your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which are not limited by this policy.
Return Conditions
To be eligible for a return, your mirror must meet the following conditions:
- We accept returns of both opened and unopened items — including defective and non-defective products.
- The mirror must show no scratches, signs of mounting (e.g. drill holes), or modifications of any kind.
- The mirror must be returned in its original protective packaging (carton and moulded foam inserts) to prevent damage in transit.
Return Shipping Cost
Returns are 100% free for all Australian customers — for both change-of-mind returns and defective items.
- A prepaid return label is included directly inside every parcel.
- No restocking fees will be charged under any circumstances.
- If you cannot find the label in your parcel, contact us and we will send a new one to your email immediately.
How to Return Your Order
Returning your mirror is simple. Follow these steps:
- Place the mirror back in its original packaging with all protective inserts.
- Stick the prepaid return label (included in your parcel) onto the sealed box.
- Drop the parcel at any Australia Post outlet or the courier drop-off point indicated on the label.
- Send a quick email to hello@satinor.com.au to confirm your return has been sent.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected at our North Kellyville warehouse, we will send you an email confirming receipt. If the return conditions are met, your refund will be processed immediately.
Your refund will be automatically applied to your original payment method (credit/debit card, ApplePay,Paypal, etc.) within 5 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
If you have not received your refund after 5 business days, please check with your bank first. If the issue persists, contact us at hello@satinor.com.au.
Damaged or Defective Items
Despite our reinforced packaging, glass remains a fragile material. If your mirror arrives broken or with a manufacturing defect, do not return it immediately.
Contact us at hello@satinor.com.au with a clear photo of the damage. We will dispatch a brand new replacement immediately and at no cost to you — without requiring you to return the damaged item (unless specifically requested by our team for assessment purposes).
This guarantee is provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your statutory rights as a consumer under Australian law.
